Tuition fee for non-European students in Baden-Württemberg

Students from non-European countries including India will be required to pay a tuition fee of 1500€/semester studying at Universities/Universities of Applied Sciences in the state of Baden-Württemberg from winter semester 2017/2018. Students are advised to clarify directly with the universities / university of applied science to clear this issue while submitting applications.

Some exceptions include:

  1. International students of a partner university (MoU) need not pay the tuition fee if it is part of the Double Degree program
  2. International students who do not need ECTS points while doing their short term stay or research stay during Masters/PhD also do not need to pay tuition fees
  3. Students coming as exchange students who come as semester abroad program can study for 2 semesters without tuition fees
